Top-class yacht tenders are characterised by maximum safety, easy handling and optimum handling in all situations. While slatted floor boats benefit from ease of assembly, good transport and storage options, they tend to compromise on sailing characteristics. On the other hand, boats with a rigid GRP hull (RIBs) offer outstanding sailing characteristics, but are only suitable for large yachts due to their size and weight. The SEATEC AEROSTAR range successfully combines both designs thanks to an innovative underwater hull construction with an inflatable V-keel. This unique design not only delivers straight-line stability, but also excellent steering behaviour and less drift at slow speeds. The design has resulted in a stable and solid underwater hull that achieves almost the same sailing characteristics as an RIB, but with considerably less weight, a more compact pack size and a higher load capacity. SEATEC AEROSTAR boats are made from a special 5-layer PVC material that guarantees maximum stability. The base consists of a fabric insert made of hard-wearing synthetic fibres (polyester) with 1100 Decitex, which ensures exceptional stability. A PVC coating on both sides makes the inflatable boat airtight and robust. The PVC material used is top of the range and specially developed for the manufacture of inflatable boats. With a material thickness of approx. 0.7 mm and a boat skin of approx. 850 g/m², it offers outstanding durability. The floor of the boats consists of a 67 mm thick multi-layer laminate with a spacer fabric and a weight of 1950 g/m², which ensures an impressive maximum tensile force of 3000 N / 5 cm on both sides. The inflatable boat is supplied with a practical carry bag for easy transport and convenient storage.
